Faber-Castell Watercolor Pencils and Pitt Pens Lucy Riggs Friday, March 4 10:00am-11:30am $20.00
Beginner to professional. No Drawing Experience is necessary for this workshop.
Let the pure, brilliant colors of Faber Castell's Aquarelle pencils and Pitt Artist Pens inspire you to create vivid nature abstractions. In this workshop we will start by using the shapes and textures of a variety of natural objects like leaves, tree bark, and flowers to compose interesting line drawings. Water will be our "magic" medium as it releases the color in our lines and allows us to explore painterly effects using several techniques. The versatile brush tipped Pitt Pens will be like the icing and sprinkles on the cake when we use them to accent our colorful creations.
Pitt Pens by Faber-Castell are light fast and waterproof and are invaluable as a tool for all art techniques. When combined with the Faber-Castell watercolor pencils a new dimension can be added to your work.
Lucy Riggs received her BFA for The University of Texas. She has been an architectural illustrator for over 25 years. Lucy currently works part-time at Art Supply on main
